Features
Sections :
Media forms are divided into three dedicated sections. Thus, you can focus on a specific section without interfering with each other and it is very easy to switch to another.
Ranking :
Home Media Manager offers various ranking criteria. So you can sort your media by media type, genre, nationality, distributor or publisher, and, of course, the media form name. You can also rank them in preference order, according to the rating that you have assigned.
Preference levels :
Select your preference levels between 0 and 20 to rate your media forms. You will be able to use it as ranking or search criteria, and will appear for each of your forms in the lower right corner. The smiley of Home Media Manager smiles according to the rating you have assigned to the form.
Web search - Media form creation** :
Search for a title, an author or an actor and retrieve the information of your movies, books or music from the web automatically.
Media form customization / editing :
Every media form created can be customized in Home Media Manager. You can edit all the information, from the title to the actors, including the distributor or the original title. In this editing tab, you can choose the rating to assign, change the form image or change the media type. This feature is especially useful when you create media forms for your personal media, such as your holiday videos.
Loan management* :
When you select a form whose media is lent, an icon symbolizing a borrower appears in the lower right corner of the form image. When you hover over this icon, the loan details are displayed: the name of the borrower and the loan date.
Location management* :
To list and locate your media, Home Media Manager also offers location management. This feature lets you quickly find where the media you are looking for is stored, as well as all the media stored in the same location.
Interface customization :
Customize the look of your Home Media Manager to suit your taste and personality. Shades of blue, black or red, or even a mix: it's up to you.
Home Media Manager is now multilingual, so you can choose the language of your profile interface.
